When you first step into Sietch Ta’lab, you’ll meet an NPC named Ari. They’ll give you a brief history of the Sietch and prompt you to explore the area further. Make sure to investigate each room thoroughly—there are multiple chests hidden throughout, so it’s worth the time to search.
As you progress deeper into the Sietch, you’ll encounter a multi-part puzzle sequence that forms the Final Trial. Here’s a full breakdown of each step and all the correct solutions.

First Door: Lore Quiz Answers
The first challenge involves answering a series of lore-based questions to unlock a sealed door. Select the following answers in order to proceed:
- Nilotic al-Ourouba
- Poritrin
- Salusa Secundus
- Bela Teguese
- Rossak
- Thurgrod
- Harmonthep
Once all answers are selected correctly, the door will unlock and let you move forward.
Cutting through boulders
After the quiz, you’ll move through several chambers—some obstructed by boulders that need to be destroyed using your Cutteray. Be cautious of traps scattered along the way. Exploring every path is worth it, as you can find loot hidden in side tunnels.
Symbol Matching Puzzle
Eventually, you’ll reach a room containing a Solido Projection of a lecturer. After the lecture finishes, you’ll need to match sets of symbols based on what was discussed.
Correct Symbol Pairs:
- Bind – Dune – Grass
- Planting – Shelter – Downwind
- Animal – Aerate – Soil
Deathstill Ring Puzzle
The final puzzle involves aligning rings on the floor to correctly configure a Fremen Deathstill. The structure has three concentric rings that can be rotated.
Rotate each ring to match the following visual pattern. You’ll know the solution is correct when Ari comments, “Very good.” After that, interact with the Deathstill to unlock the next area.

Before the last door can be opened, you’ll need to interact with a console located just to the left of the entrance to the room. Once activated, it opens the final chamber.
Your final task? Defeat the Maas Kherat enemies that appear. It’s a manageable fight, and once cleared, the Final Trial will be complete.
